Our Volunteers

Volunteers are the heart of our Hub. From welcoming visitors and running activities, to offering support and a friendly chat - they bring energy and compassion to everything we do. Without their time and enthusiasm, the Hub wouldn’t be the vibrant space it is today.

We currently have over 50 regular volunteers. If you feel you can offer support to the Hub, however big or small, please contact us.

Our Early Years Lead

Megan Parfoot - Centre Manager and Early Years Lead

At Chard Community Hub, we’re proud to have Megan Parfoot, Centre Manager and Early Years Lead who ensures everything is running smoothly.

Funded partly through generous community donations and the Cradle to Career programme, Megan is the constant presence at the Hub. She plays the vital role in linking all our activities together, ensuring that every project, event and service works in harmony to support the people of Chard.

Megan’s Bright Beginnings work provides essential support and signposting for our most vulnerable families, ensuring that every child has access to equal opportunities and the brightest start.
